Structure

This A7 shock absorber is a hydraulic-pneumatic composite damping assembly, designed for heavy-duty truck cab suspension systems. It integrates a black rubber air spring (marked with “HOLIER TECH”) and a precision hydraulic damper cylinder. The air spring is made of multi-layer reinforced rubber with a fabric mesh core, connected to the damper via a metal flange. The damper features a black-painted steel cylinder and a polished piston rod, with rubber bushings at both ends for flexible, vibration-damping mounting. The entire unit is compact and robust, optimized for cab suspension applications.

Performance

The multi-layer rubber air spring provides excellent variable stiffness and vibration isolation, adapting to different load conditions. The hydraulic damper delivers precise, progressive damping force, effectively absorbing and dissipating road impacts and vibrations. The assembly operates reliably in temperatures ranging from -40°C to 120°C, resisting fluid degradation, seal failure, and rubber aging. The rubber bushings isolate chassis vibrations, significantly improving driver comfort and reducing cab component fatigue.
