Structure

This steering rod is a one-piece forged and heat-treated assembly core to heavy-duty truck steering linkages, constructed from high-strength 40Cr alloy steel. The tie rod ends integrate precision-machined ball studs, wear-resistant nylon seats, and pre-adjusted tension springs, ensuring zero-clearance articulation. The entire rod body is coated with a black electrophoretic anti-corrosion finish, and the threaded connection areas between the rod body and tie rod ends are precision-machined to OE specifications for secure locking and adjustability.

Forged from premium 40Cr alloy steel and quenched-tempered for optimal toughness, the steering rod withstands extreme torsional and impact loads during heavy-duty driving, with a tensile strength exceeding 1,000MPa. The black electrophoretic coating provides superior resistance to gravel impact, salt spray corrosion, and moisture, ensuring long-term durability in harsh road and climate conditions.

Core Function

1. Serves as the key connecting component between the steering gear and steering knuckle, accurately transmitting the steering force from the steering gear to the front wheels to realize precise direction control of the vehicle.

2. Maintains the precise toe-in angle of the front wheels through its rigid structure and adjustable tie rod ends, preventing abnormal tire wear caused by steering deviation.

3. Absorbs and buffers the impact force from the road surface transmitted through the wheels, protecting the steering gear and steering column from excessive stress and extending their service life.
