Product Introduction

Structure

This straight torque rod adopts an integrated forged and welded structure, with a high-strength alloy steel round bar as the core connecting rod and precision-forged steel end yokes at both ends.  The entire assembly is coated with a matte gray anti-corrosion finish, and the welds are subjected to non-destructive testing to ensure structural integrity. The rod body features a smooth surface design to reduce wind resistance and avoid debris accumulation during operation.

Performance

Crafted from premium 42CrMo alloy steel and treated with quenching and tempering heat treatment, the torque rod achieves high tensile strength, yield strength and impact toughness, capable of withstanding extreme longitudinal and lateral torque loads generated by heavy-duty truck axles during driving. The gray anti-corrosion coating has excellent resistance to gravel impact, salt spray corrosion and high-temperature aging, maintaining stable mechanical properties in the temperature range of -40°C to 150°C. The precision-machined pivot holes ensure zero-clearance matching with bushings and kingpins, avoiding abnormal wear and noise during long-term use.

1. Serves as a core connecting component of the heavy-duty truck axle suspension system, connecting the axle and the frame to transmit longitudinal and lateral torque between them.

2. Maintains the precise relative position of the axle and the frame, ensuring the stability of the wheel alignment and avoiding tire abnormal wear caused by axle offset.

3. Restricts the movement track of the axle during acceleration, braking and cornering, enhances the vehicle’s driving stability and handling performance, and shortens the braking distance.
