The end cover features a hexagonal mounting flange with 6 bolt holes for secure attachment, and a central bore that supports the input shaft front bearing. The oil guide ring is press-fitted into the cover’s inner bore, with spiral oil grooves to direct lubricant to the input shaft journal and bearing.
